Accommodation in Loisaba is comfortable beyond measure. All of our properties fall under the Elewana Collection, and will most definitely take your breath away, whether waking up at the Loisaba Tented Camp with a view of Mt Kenya or sleeping under the undisturbed African night sky on our unique Starbeds.
Loisaba Tented Camp
With the most breath-taking view looking towards Mount Kenya, Loisaba Tented Camp is perched high on the edge of an escarpment. With a waterhole below attracting wildlife, one can enjoy the expansive view from the comfort of their veranda.
The Loisaba Tented Camp is made up of 12 tents:
- Six en suite tents: three doubles, three convertible twin/doubles.
- Three family combinations, each consisting of two en suite tents with adjoining walkway.
The main area offers a modern dining experience with chic African décor, delicious cocktails and a tantalising infinity pool with changing rooms.
Loisaba Tented Camp really is the ultimate combination of sophistication and nature.
Loisaba Starbeds
As Loisaba Conservancy lies just off the equator we have the most beautiful night skies. Unique to Loisaba, the Starbeds are an African adventure in themselves – handcrafted four-poster beds which sit on wheels are rolled out onto raised wooden platforms so that guests can sleep under the endless African night sky.
The main communal area at the Starbeds offers a cosy and homely dining room, sitting room and a wooden deck – which is the perfect spot for a sunny breakfast. Guided and hosted by a team of traditional Samburu and Laikipia Maasai Warriors this cultural experience will most definitely be a memorable one.
The Loisaba Starbeds are located among a kopje of rocks in one of the Eastern Valleys, overlooking the Kiboko Dam. Home to a resident hippo family and a main water source for passing game, the Starbeds bring you close to nature.
The biggest bedroom in the world, where the night sky is your ceiling and the hills in the distance are your walls.
Acacia Campsite
Sitting out on the plains underneath yellow fever acacia trees, there is a spacious campsite. Close to Loisaba’s largest dam, ‘Colcheccio’, guests can enjoy this private, magical spot.
